Q. Do you offer Wifi? Is it free?
A. Yes. We have Wifi available at your rv. We offer a complimentary 4 hour trial of our service. In order to provide the
best possible service we have contracted with Tengo Internet for low daily, weekly and monthly rates. We do offer
free use of our computers in our libriary.

Q. What are your rates?
A.
Our rates are based on length of stay, the size of the space, amenities at each site, and location within the resort.  For stays of less then 31 days you can reserve directly on the internet reservations page.  For extended stay rates contact the resort directly at toll free: 1-866-477-6154

Q. Do you offer full hook-ups?
A
. Each of our spaces offers: water, sewer, cable tv, 30/50 amp electric. Extended stay rates are plus metered electric

Q. Do you have pull-thru spaces? Can you accommodate a 45ft rv?
A.
Yes. We have a limited number of spaces available. As the demand is very high, we do not offer extended
stay rates on these sites. However, we do have many very large spaces that we offer our extended stay visitors. 

Q. Do you have group rates?
A.
Yes. We can accommodate groups up 500 rv's. We offer a scaled contract based on number of RV's reserved.
We offer a club room, kitchen, and other great amenities to serve your group.

Q. Are you close to San Diego?
A.
The resort is the perfect location for day trips to many of Southern California's attractions.  Most areas of San Diego can be reached within 60-90 minutes.

Q. Are you close to shopping ?
A
. Yes.  We are in walking distance. There are several restaurants and grocery stores and major retailers right across the street.

Q. Do you accept pets? Is there restrictions?
A
. Yes. We are pet friendly. We supply pet waste bags and have several nice walking areas for your
pets enjoyment. We do limit each site to 2 pets per site and do not allow any aggressive breeds.

Q. Do you have pool?  Is it heated?
A
. Yes. We offer 3 heated pools and 3 spas for your year round enjoyment.  We have a beautiful patio deck witha food and beverage area for you to enjoy. The deck has a gorgeous view of snow capped mountains and even has a cabana.

Q. Do you sell propane?
A.
  No. However we have a delivery service that will come to your rv and we have negotiated low prices with an area
vendor if you prefer to not have it delivered.

Q. When is check in time? Check out time?
A
. Check in time is 1 p.m.. Check-out is 12 noon. Early arrivals and late departures (if available) may be subject to a nominal fee.

Q. Do you have restrictions or type of rv?
A
. Yes. All RV's must be fully self contained, and are subject to an exterior inspection upon arrival. The rv must be clean, rust free, no broken windows, and if motor powered running. Tarps on roofs, and other modifications are strictly prohibited. The resort has a complete list of rules and regulations on file for your review. Sorry, no tent camping.

Q. Can I have a camp-fire?
A. Unfortunately no. Local City ordinance does not allow this for your safety with rv's and propane gas in the vicinity.
However, barbecues are welcome.

Q. Are you a membership resort?  How long can I stay?
A. No. We are non-membership,non-ownership.   We offer daily,weekly,extended stay and annual rates. There are no restrictions on your length of stay.

Q. Do you offer discounts?  Military, AARP, Senior?  AAA, Good Sam, Escapees?  Passport America?
A. We offer 10% discounts off of our daily rate for: AAA, Good Sam, and Active duty military. We offer Passport America rates for a 3 day maximum when available. Escapee's receive a 15% discount with valid membership.A valid ID card must be presented at check-in to obtain these discounts.  Offers may not be combined and do not apply to any other discounted rates.

Q. Can I reserve a specific site?
A
. Yes. All 90 day or longer space reservations are eligible to reserve a specific space. A one month deposit
is required. A park model sale for this space could require the reservation to be moved to another similar space.

Q. Do you have a laundry facility?
A
. Yes. We have a spotlessly clean laundrythat is right on site for your convenience. We have the convenience of a card so no need for quarters for long term guests. A few quarter machines are available for our overnight visitors.

Q. Do you offer rv storage?
A.
Yes. We have a very limited number of storage spaces available. If you need indoor garaged storage we
offer that at Sunlands Emerald Desert Resort

Q. How do I get there?  Directions?
A
. I-15 North: Exit Winchester Rd. (CA 79 N.) North for 15 miles. Right on Highway 74 (Florida Ave) for 4 miles. Left at Golden Village- just past the Hampton Inn. Or: I-15 North to I-215 North: Exit Newport 4 miles, Left on Winchester (CA 79) for 3.2 miles, Right on Highway74 (Florida Ave) for 4 miles. Left at Golden Village- just past the Hampton Inn.
I-10: Exit Highway 79 South (Beaumont) South for 15 miles. Stay straight on Sanderson. Do not turn left at bottom
of hill. Right on Highway (74) Florida for 1 block. Just past Home Depot, Right on Golden Village .

Q. Do you have casino's close by?
A
. We have 3 large casinos within 35 minutes of the resort.
Soboba Casino is 10 miles from the resort
Morongo Casino is 35 miles from the resort
Pechanga Casino is 27 miles from the resort

Q. Do you offer rentals?
A.
Yes. We do offer a limited number of Park Models for rent that can accommodate 2 people comfortably on
a monthly basis. In addition we have a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath VIP Condo available for daily rental.

Q. What is your cancellation policy? What is your reservation change policy?
A. Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reservations: Call, write or e-mail within 24 hours of arrival or a one night minimum charge will be billed.Holiday time period Reservations: Call, write or e-mail within 72 hours of arrival or a 3 night minimum charge will be billed.  4 Month or longer reservations:$100 charge for guaranteed site if not cancelled within 24 hours of arrival. On all of the above no fee applies if reservation is moved to future available date. (pricing may vary)

Q. What is the weather like in Hemet?
A. Hemet Valley is known for its beautiful sunshine year round. The Chamber of Commerce boasts of 342 days of sunshine a year! Winter temperatures are in the high 70’s or low 80’s with mild evenings in the high 40’s. Summertime temperatures range from the 80’s to low 100’s with pleasant evenings.Hemet Weather Forecast

Q. What is the golf like in Hemet?
A. Golf is the number one activity for guests at Golden Village Palms RV Resort with nearly a dozen, reasonably-priced courses between 5 to 30 minutes away. We have organized golf programs for both men and women from November through March and are open to everyone regardless of handicap levels. In addition to organized programs, guests have the option of playing on their own at any of the area’s golf courses; many offer special discounts for staying with us at Golden Village Palms RV Resort.

Q. What are some of the amenities at your Resort?
A. Golden Village Palms RV Resort is a luxury Resort with: three heated Pools and Spas, a state of the art Fitness Center, Library, Computer Center with free internet access, Full Activity Calendar, Billiards Room with six full size tables and one snooker table, eight-lane Indoor Shuffleboard Pavilion, immaculately clean card operated Laundry Facility, and handicap accessible Restrooms and Shower Facilities open 24 hours. Q. How far in advance should I make my reservation?
A. During our peak season we have limited availability and we recommend making your reservation as early as possible. Not only will this reservation reserve space, but will lock in the current rate, should we have a rate increase.Make a Reservation Online

Q. How do I reserve if I am not sure of an arrival date?
A. Our front desk staff can always make a reservation with an approximate arrival date, and as your stay get closer you can call and make changes to your reservation.

Q. Are you open all year?
A. Yes! We are open for reservations 12 months a year.

Q. Do you require a deposit to make a reservation?
A. No! When making your reservation we will ask for a Visa or MasterCard number, however, we do not charge until check-in and there is no advance deposit necessary.

Q. Do you have a referral program?
A. Yes! For each month that a new guest stays you receive a $25.00 per month rent credit. There is no limit on the number of people you can refer so theoretically you can stay here rent free! Certain restrictions apply please contact the front desk for more information.

Q. Are families welcome?
A. Golden Village Palms RV Resort is for Active Adults.

Q . Are golf-carts and motorized scooters allowed?
A. Yes! We do allow golf-carts and motorized scooters on the streets throughout the resort, however, they are not allowed on the sidewalks, clubhouse or pool area.

Q. Do you have 50 amp hook-ups?
A. Yes! All of our sites come equipped with 30 and 50 amp plugs.

Q. How much is the cost of electricity?
A. Our Electric Rates start at $0.13 per KWH. After use of 321 KW’s the price per KW goes up.

Q. Are visitors allowed?
A. Yes! Guests are allowed two visitors per site. All visitors must register with the Office. Visitors (adult or child) must be accompanied by the paying guest at all times. If visitors are overnight guests they are subject to visitor fees. Inquire with our front desk about our fully-furnished luxurious apartment available for short term rental.

Q. What credit cards do you accept?
A. We accept Visa and MasterCard.

Q. What is included in your rates?
A. All 1,019 beautifully landscaped sites provide a concrete patio, asphalt drive-way and space for two vehicles. Our roads are paved and each site has 30 and 50 amp electric plugs, water, cable TV (up to 80 channels) connection and sewer hook-up. Wi FI access is also available at each site.

Q. Do you offer telephone lines at each site?
A. Each site is set up with a telephone line; you can contact our local provider, Verizon, to activate the line if you plan to stay with us 30 days or longer. Verizon (800) 483-4000 or visit Verizon Online

Q. Are you within walking distance to restaurants and shopping?
A. Golden Village Palms is with-in a mile radius of: 4 Grocery stores including Target, Shopping Mall with Sears and JC Penny’s, Mailing centers, Medical centers, Movie Theatre, Community park with tennis courts, PetSmart and PETCO, Avis Car Rental, and over 20 restaurants including Chili’s and Applebee’s. Q. How long can I stay?
A. We have rate plans for nightly, weekly, monthly, seasonal, and even annual leases.Rates

Q. Do you have a dump station?
A. No, we don’t have a public dump station. The closest dump station is located at Menifee Ranch Storage, 30125 US Highway 74 Romoland CA, 92548 (951)926-6262.

Q. Are there scheduled bus trips to casinos and other points of interest?
A. Yes. Located in the Activity Office are several listings of bus trips and travel
opportunities.

Q. Do you hold a church service?
A. Yes! Every Sunday morning (November through March) at 8:00am there is a non-denominational service held in our Shuffleboard Pavilion. Our Front Desk also has information on additional services in the local area.

Q. Do you have a full-time Activity Director?
A. Yes. The Activity Office is staffed year round to assist our guests in getting involved with; social gatherings, games, live entertainment, and exercise programs.

Q. I have a favorite craft I would like to share, is this possible?
A. The Activity Office welcomes new ideas and will assist you with arranging a room and sign-up sheets.

Q. Living in our RV is quite an adjustment from our 5 bedroom home; do you have something to keep my husband out of my hair while I do some light house keeping?
A. You can sign him up to be a volunteer rig parker, the reservation desk can put him to work 4 hours a day. He would help new arrivals to their RV site.

Q. At home I belong to a local gym, what do you offer in your exercise program?
A. The Resort has a state of the art fitness center or you can attend an exercise class by our fully trained and licensed instructor. We also have volunteer run; water exercise programs, hiking and biking groups that go out weekly, not to mention sand volleyball.

Q. As a new guest to your Resort how would I get involved in the activities?
A. Upon your arrival you will receive a calendar of events for the current month and a newsletter. The Activity office lobby is open 7 days a week, with access to brochures, sign-up sheets and upcoming event posters. October through April a weekly welcome reception is hosted by the General Manager to help introduce you to our resort and fellow RVers. Activities Calendar

Q. Can your resort accommodate my RV group?
A. We have group rates starting with just 5 RV’s. All of our sites are full hook-up, 50 amp service with cable TV. The resort is equipped with a professional- quality kitchen and club rooms for your special events or just a day playing cards with your buddies. During your stay you can have, billiards tournaments, putting contests, shuffleboard events in our world class facility. A full-time group coordinator can assist you in planning your outing; from referring entertainers to recommending caterers. Q. We will be staying in your resort over the holiday season, do you have anything planned?
A.
Yes. We have special functions for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.  Each guest of the Resort is
invited to join these dinners.  You can contact the activity or sign-up upon your arrival.

Q. Is there a massage therapist on the site?
A.
Yes. We have a licensed, board ceritfied and insured therapist on site.  You can have a walk-in chair massage
during one of the posted times or schedule a full private massage in one of our Resort rooms.

Q. I see you have many fun amenities; do we need to bring our own sporting equipment?
A
. We have horseshoes, bocce ball sets, badminton, vollyballs, ping pong paddles and ladder golf.
All of which are available for your enjoyment through the Activity Office.  The shuffleboard Pavilion has everything you need to play a game. you will just need to pack your own golf clubs!
