Dear Golden Village Palms,
Once again, the California Pacers are writing to say. “Thank you” for helping to make our recent rally so successful. We love to come to your resort because of the wonderful facilities and outstanding staff. Tracy Rogers does an amazing job of coordinating and making all our desires come to fruition. What’s more, she does it with a big smile and a cheerful attitude. This good humor and efficiency carried through to the receptionists and the custodial staff. Especially helpful in that area were George, Karen and Kevin. They did a wonderful job!

“This is to inform you of what we think and like about the most beautiful and pleasant spot in the universe. My wife Fran would very seldom go with me when I would go Rving to different places around the country. She is a city girl, and she is too busy to partake in things to do, so she would rather just stay at home. Well I found Golden Village Palms and have been visiting several times however my wife never wanted to go with me. I finally talked her into going with me on a trip to Golden Village Palms to relax and enjoy the amenities.
On her first trip to Hemet she was so not looking forward to going, she was unconcerned with the surroundings as we drove there, did not say much of anything as she has seen other parks that claim they are a resort and they are run down and very typical campgrounds.
Upon arrival as I turned the RV from Florida Ave into the drive of Golden Village Palms with the beautiful palm trees lining the drive with the array of flowers lining the street. I slowly drove down the drive, and Fran all of the sudden sat straight up looking around. she did not say a word as she still was not too sure about the place. As we approached the gates you could see she was taking in all the splendor of the views of the resort. A smile began to emerge on Fran’s face.
I went inside and was greeted by the staff with their warm smiles welcoming me into the resort. They made sure I was taken care of, and they took me out to my site. Fran still was not saying anything as she was checking out the beautiful landscaping and scenic lamps that lit the streets that lined the resort.
Fran ended up meeting new friends, enjoying the activities that are offered, and relaxed around the pool and jacuzzis. She really takes it all in, sitting in the cabana while listening to the live poolside music, and being able to try the different restaurants that you have to offer. In the evening time she loves to go for walks around the resort on her own as she feels safe here.
Bottom line to this is after her first visit she really did not want to leave and was informed that this will be the only place we will now go and never with out her. this has turned out to be the best for our Golden Years at the Golden Village Palms”

“We have been snowbirds for quite sometime and this was one of our favorites to spend the winter in. A first class park with facilities that can only be found in a 5 Star park. Huge clubhouse, billard room, ball room and more activities than you can do. Many very reasonable golf courses very close to the park. Three pools, three hot tubs and live entertainment and dancing on a regular basis. One of Karen’s favorite activities was the water volleyball and this park is known for their waterball pool. If you are heading south for the winter or just for a vacation this park is the one to use as a base. Only a short drive to Palm Springs, San Diego and LA. You are in the center of all the action.”

“A special thanks to you and your staff for your hospitality during our Monaco Romers rally in October at your resort. It seemed to us that the success of our rally was first and foremost in the minds of your entire staff. We found all of those we dealt with very informed and ready and willing to meet our needs. We especially enjoyed working with the Events Coordinator, Tracie Rodgers. She seemed to anticipate our needs before we realized we needed assistance, amazing! Everyone was friendly and helpful, and welcomed us with style. We will of course return someday and recommend your resort to our friends who are looking for a beautiful setting for a rally or just a visit to the southern California area to rest and relax. “

“The park is a haven for good reasonable golfing plus great hiking, biking, fishing, and for the ladies good shopping within minutes walking from the park. Also Los Angeles and San Diego are approximately one hour away and Palm Spring is about 45 miles.
The park itself has large sites with many amenities such as full hookups, paved patios, wireless internet, 3 pools, 3 hot-tubs, fitness centre, excellent shower facilities, water volleyball, land volleyball, horseshoes, putting green and a state of the art shuffleboard facility.
A variety of other activities are available, such as craft and dancing classes being taught, like square dancing, round dancing, ballroom and line dancing. If you prefer you can learn to paint or sew instead. It’s all there.
Gladys and I had to sit down each morning and actually plan our days picking and choosing from all the activities!

“We left the office armed with monthly, semi monthly and annual prices as well as a map of the facility. We started the tour and could not believe the amenities we found, 3 swimming pools, 3 Jacuzzis, a fitness center second to none, horseshoe pits, sand volleyball courts and a “world class” shuffleboard facility. It took me about a half hour to realize that this is the place I wanted to live.”
