From casual games and friendly challenges to epic pickleball showdowns, there’s something for every competitor—whether you’re a shuffleboard strategist, a court-side champ, or just in it for laughs. Golf League
The Golf League has come to an end! We sincerely thank everyone who participated this season and look forward to seeing you back with us next season, starting in November 2026.
How it works:
- The men's and women's golf league sign-up sheets are in the Shuffleboard Pavilion.
- Monday sign-up sheets are removed on Fridays, and pairings/drivers are posted on Saturdays.
- Wednesday sign-up sheets are removed on Sunday, and pairings/drivers are posted on Monday.
- Registration & Cost: Golfers are responsible for green fees, which will vary per golf course.
Pickleball Open Play
Grab your paddle and join the action on our ten pickleball courts! Open play means no teams, no brackets, and no tournaments—just casual games for all skill levels. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a curious beginner, it’s the perfect way to enjoy the game and meet new friends.

Pickleball Level Play
Ready for a friendly challenge? In Pickleball Level Play at Golden Village Palms, teams are assigned based on skill level, ensuring balanced and competitive matches. Join instructor Shannon for Strength & Stretch, a low-impact class held twice a week in our Ballroom. This class focuses on gentle stretching techniques and gradually building muscle strength, with the option to participate from a chair.

Line Dancing: Step into Fun and Fitness!

Bingo
Join us for a lively game of Bingo, played in our Banquet Room or Ballroom. Come for the chance to win and stay for the fun!

Pickleball Tournament
Pickleball Courts at Golden Village Palms
$50 per player | $25 per additional event
Get ready to smash for a cause this Halloween at the Monster Smash Pickleball Tournament, hosted by Golden Village Palms and presented by Cops 4 Kids & Communities and Hemet Rotary.
All proceeds benefit Hemet Rotary and Cops 4 Kids & Communities, supporting youth programs, educational opportunities and community initiatives in the Hemet-San Jacinto Valley.
Pegs & Jokers Game—A Fun Twist on Parcheesi!
Join us in the Ballroom for Pegs & Jokers, a lively card game played once a week. Teams of 2, 3, or 4 players (depending on attendance) compete to move their team’s pegs around the board and “home” before their opponents. This game is similar to Parcheesi. All skill levels are welcome, and the best part? It’s free for guests!
Mahjong—A Game of Skill, Strategy, and Luck
Join us in the Billiard Room twice a week for Mahjong, a tile-based game that combines skill, strategy, and a bit of luck, much like the card game Rummy. This game is open to all guests, regardless of experience, and is a great way to challenge your mind and have fun with friends. Best of all, it’s free for guests to play!
Cribbage — A Classic Card Game
Join us in the Billiard Room once a week for Cribbage, a traditional card game usually played by two players. The game involves creating card combinations to earn points and can easily be adapted for three or four players. It’s a fun challenge for card game enthusiasts of all skill levels!

Texas Hold’em—The Ultimate Poker Showdown
Join us in the Ballroom once a week for Texas Hold’em, where multiple poker tables are set up to accommodate all players. In this exciting game, each player aims to create the best five-card hand from seven available cards—five community cards and two hole cards. Players have the options to check, call, raise, or fold, with rounds of betting taking place before and after the community cards are dealt. The player with the best hand at the end of all betting rounds wins the pot!

Hand, Knee, and Foot
Join us in the Billiard Room once a week for Hand, Knee, and Foot, a fun variant of the classic card game Canasta. In this version, players must empty an additional hand of cards, making for even more exciting strategy and gameplay. This game requires a larger group of participants and more decks of cards than usual, making it a great social activity! All skill levels are welcome, and best of all, it’s free to play!
Mexican Train: A Domino Game of Fun and Strategy
oin us in the Ballroom once a week for Mexican Train, an exciting domino game where the goal is to play all your tiles onto one or more chains, or “trains,” that emanate from a central hub or “station.” This is a fun and strategic game for players of all skill levels.

Euchre: A Classic Trick-Taking Card Game
Join us in the Billiard Room once a week for Euchre, a fun and engaging trick-taking card game typically played with 2-4 players.
