Golden Village Palms RV Resort FAQ

As you’re getting ready to join us at Golden Village Palms RV Resort, you might have a question or two. Below, we’ve answered some of the most common questions about the resort. Still, have a question? Feel free to call us or use our contact form, and we’ll be more than happy to help.

Do you have restrictions on the type of RV?

Yes. All RV’s must be fully self-contained, and are subject to an exterior inspection upon arrival. The RV must be clean, rust free, no broken windows, tarps for roofs and other modifications are strictly prohibited. Sorry no tent camping or pops allowed. We require photos of RV’s over 10 years before confirmation of reservation.

Are Camp-fires allowed?

Unfortunately No. Local City ordinance does not allow for any open flame. Propane fire pits are allowed and barbecues are welcomed.

What is your cancellation policy? What is your reservation change policy?

Deposit:
  • Nightly:
    • Arrival more than 3 days: 1 night + tax
    • Arrival within 3 days or less: 100% of stay
  • Weekly:
    • Arrival more than 7 days: 25% of stay
    • Arrival 7 days or less: 100% of stay
  • Monthly: $600 deposit
Cancellation:
  • Nightly: 100% of the deposit will be charged as a fee when cancelled 3 days prior to arrival (after 12PM)
  • Weekly: 100% of the deposit will be charged as a fee when cancelled within 7 days prior to arrival (after 12PM)
  • Monthly: 100% of the deposit will be charged as a fee when cancelled within 14 days prior to arrival (after 12PM)
Change Requests:
  • Nightly & Weekly: If changed/modified within 3 days of arrival (after 12PM), a fee equal to the guest’s first night will apply
  • Monthly: If changed/modified within 7 days of arrival (after 12PM), a fee equal to 50% of the deposit will apply

When is check-in and check-out time?

Guests may check in at 1 p.m. Check-out is 12 p.m. Early arrivals and late departures, if available, may be subject to a nominal fee. Cottage check-in is 3 pm and check-out is 10 am.

Do you offer RV storage?

Yes. We do have a limited number of outdoor storage spaces available. There are no hookups with storage. If you need indoor storage we offer climate control storage units at our Emerald Desert Resort in Palm Desert.

Can I reserve a specific site?

Yes. All 90 day stays or longer can reserve a specific site if available. A one month deposit is required to hold the request site. Should a Park Model sale occur requesting your specific site your reservation could be moved to another similar site.

What are your rates?

Our rates are based on two people per RV site, length of stay, the size of the space, amenities at each site, and location within the resort. For stays of less than 31 days you can book with our secure online booking system. If you are looking for extended stay rates contact the resort toll free at 1-866-477-6154.

Are children allowed at the resort?

Yes, children are welcome. All children must remain with the registered RV’er. They may not use the clubhouse area with the exception of the swimming pool. Children can stay a maximum of two weeks as we are an active adult lifestyle community.

Do you offer Group Rates?

Yes. We offer special group rates depending on the size from 10 RV’s up to 700. We also offer club rooms, a full commercial kitchen and an activities director to assist the planning of your group.

Do you require a deposit to make a reservation?

Yes, a credit card deposit is required when making a reservation.

Do you offer WiFi? Is it free?

Yes, we offer newly upgraded WiFi services at Golden Village Palms RV Resort. Depending on use, a small fee may be applied.

Are all RV sites full hook up sites?

Every RV site at Golden Village Palms has a full hookup that features water, sewer, 50/30 amp electric, and cable TV.

Do you accept pets?

Golden Village Palms is a pet-friendly RV resort with treats, two dog parks, and dog friendly events. Two pets per site, aggressive breeds not allowed.

Do you offer discounts?

Our resort offers 10% discounts off daily rates for; Good Sam and Active Duty Military. All discounts require a valid ID card upon check-in. These discounts may not be combined with other offers.

Do you have pull through sites?

GVP has a limited number of pull through sites available and sites that can accommodate 45 foot RVs. Due to their limited number, pull through sites are not available for monthly or extended stays.
